Saurine leads the A.T. Kearney India unit. He joined A.T. Kearney in 1994, and has been a partner since 2002. Over the last 18 years, Saurine has worked with and delivered value to major Indian and global clients across a diverse set of industries including Consumer Products and Retail, Communications and High-tech, Automotive and District Manufacturing, and Pharmaceutical and Healthcare.
His expertise lies in driving growth and business strategies, transforming and enhancing organization capabilities, and delivering large scale margin improvement / cost reduction programs.
Saurine earned an M.B.A. from Wharton School of Business, and also has a civil engineering degree from the University of Colorado.

Debashish Mukherjee
Debashish has over 11 years of consulting experience assisting leading global and Indian companies evaluate strategic decisions as well as supporting them in their operations improvement initiatives. Debashish focuses on Consumer Goods and Retail and has been integral to developing a strong practice in India over the last few years and a key member of the India team over the last 10 years. Hemant Kalbag
Hemant is a partner based in Mumbai, and heads the consumer and retail practice for Asia. He moved to India in 2006, and over the last several years has been involved with some of the largest retail launches in India. Hemant also works closely with leading FMCG companies in India advising them in areas of strategy, operations and transformation.
He has authored some key thought pieces and is widely published and quoted in local media. This includes the CII-A.T. Kearney study on the future of the retail industry, and several articles in the Economic Times, Business Today, Business Standard, etc.
Prior to joining A.T. Kearney india, Hemant spent two years as a senior executive with Levitz, a home furnishings retailer based in New York. Before Levitz, he was also a consultant with A.T. Kearney.
Hemant has as BA in economics from Temple University and an Exec MBA from University of Michigan.
Personal Interests: Hemant enjoys traveling around the world with his family. Golf and tennis are aspirational hobbies.

Manish Mathur
Manish has over 15 years of management consulting and automotive industry experience. His focus spans across automotive and aerospace. He has been advising Asia’s leading automotive commercial vehicle OEMs, passenger vehicle OEMs, and auto component manufacturers on a broad range of topics including long term business strategy, cost and complexity reduction, global market strategies and auto financing strategies. Manish has also advised a large number of private equity firms on investment opportunities identification, due diligence and post-acquisition strategies of automotive companies. Mohit Rana
Mohit has over 17 years of experience in industry and consulting and has led complex engagements with Indian and global telecom, media and IT companies. His areas of expertise include strategy, new business launch, sales & marketing and large scale organisational restructuring. Apart from technology companies, he also works with clients in the energy, construction and services sectors. He has a deep interest in adoption of new technologies and how these changes have fundamentally impacted industry structures over the last 2 decades.
Prior to joining A.T. Kearney, Mohit worked with ICICI, financing infrastructure projects. He has also worked with a global telecom equipment player setting up telecom networks and has an in-depth understanding of technology issues related to the industry.
His educational background includes an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad and B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Delhi.

Nikolai Dobberstein
Nikolai has over 19 years of experience across consulting and telecoms. Most recently, Nikolai was the SVP New Businesses & Strategy at Maxis (end 2004 to early 2010), where he was responsible for all data, mobile internet and broadband businesses and corporate strategy. Maxis is Malaysia’s leading mobile operator and has operations in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. He transformed Maxis into a globally leading mobile data and internet player, making Maxis one of the global top 15 operators in non-voice share.
Before joining Maxis, Nikolai was with McKinsey & Company for 12 years, where he served as Managing Partner of the Kuala Lumpur office from 2002 to 2004. His consulting experience was focused on telecoms & technology, change management and M&A. Nikolai moved to Malaysia in November 1996, after having worked for 4 years in the Indian (Mumbai) and 1 year in the Italian offices of McKinsey.
Nikolai holds a Ph.D. in Technology and Innovation Management from the University of Kiel, Germany.
Personal Interests: Nikolai is a passionate tennis player, avid reader and enthusiastic traveler. He is married to a very sociable Indian with two boys.

Vikas Kaushal
Vikas leads the Energy and Process Industries practice for the firm in India. He has over 17 years of industry and consulting experience. He has worked extensively with the leading Indian and MNC organisations focused on the Indian Energy and Process industries including oil and gas, power, chemicals and metals and mining. He has also worked with many emerging players in the renewable domain. Shiv Shivaraman
Shiv has extensive global industry and consulting experience in the Automotive and Chemical industries and recently relocated to India after about 20 years in the US. He has built deep expertise in the automotive sector across North America and Europe in a broad range of topics across the value chain including product development/engineering, supply chain and manufacturing and procurement. Gaurav Gupta
Gaurav has over 15 years of consulting and industry experience, with the last 10 years focused on the IT and BPO industry. Most recently Gaurav was a Managing Partner at Everest Group, a boutique consulting and research firm, where he had responsibility for the Firm’s India and regional business. Across his tenure at Everest Group in the US and India, Gaurav has served leading IT/BPO buyers, suppliers, industry and government bodies as well as investors in the offshoring and outsourcing space.

Kaushika Madhavan has over 16 years of consulting & industry experience. Ajay Gupta
Ajay has over 13 years of consulting experience, wherein he has been advising companies across communications, media and information technology. Anshuman is a Principal with the Energy & Process Industries Practice for A.T. Kearney in India.
